On the Beach
The first two nights, we stayed at the Whale Watch Inn, a beautiful hotel on the cliffs above the Pacific. It's about a 3-hour drive north of San Francisco on Highway 1. It was a beautiful, relaxing drive. A steep stairway leads from the inn to this stretch of beach.
