After a quick stop at a grocery store to get lunch supplies, we leave Brecon and head for the mountains. I suddenly find myself surrounded by three Brits singing along with Oasis as Wonderwall pours out of the radio.

As they sing, the road winds up into the mountains and Talybont Reservoir glistens below us. The scene is stunning, but I already notice clouds moving in. Simon Partridge was right. It's going to rain again.
