Well, let me tell you---we couldn't have been more pleased that a Newfie won. You would have thought it was our own granddogger that was the winner. No wonder she was out partying. What an honor! Of course, I'm sure her master just knew it had to happen. Right?

Actually, I didn't think the Newf would win. The world seems to be prejudice in favor of yappy dogs. Josh is a beautiful critter, though. Not as beautful as Xena, or course. But he rates.

I'm also glad to see that you're finally taking an interest in your "other" grandkids. It's not fair that Jeff's kids get all the attention. Har.

Sigh. The basset was robbed again. Didn't even win the hound category. But yeah, I'm glad to see a big dog win Best of Show. Maybe Josh can help reverse the trend toward dogs that will fit in a tote bag.
