Yeoman Warder talks to tourists at Bloody Tower
One of the Yeoman Warders, also known as Beefeaters, talks to a group of tourists at the foot of the Bloody Tower.
After walking along the Thames, I arrive at the Tower of London. It's incredible. I drift in and out of several tours lead by Yeoman Warders and run my hand along the old stones trying to imagine what it must have been like when William the Conquerer stomped around here. Sir Walter Ralegh, the Bloody Tower, the armory ... the place is so steeped in history, much of it quite horrible.
