This is a very cool gadget that lets you turn of TVs anywhere you stumble across them. Think about it. You're in a restaurant trying to eat, and a TV is blaring over in the bar.

I've been trying to get our alpha geek at work to invent one, but he keeps mumbling something about it being illegal.
they have cell phone jammers in europe. they use them in theaters and churches. maybe you could arrange a business trip to pick one up?

How about a Muzak-B-Gone? Surely this technology can be adapted to zap the Foreigner that seems to always be playing in chain restaurants.
